Virginia Mae Schollaart Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Virginia Mae Schollaart of Grand Rapids, Michigan, who passed away on June 10, 2025, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Edwin Schollaart. She is survived by: her children, Marlynn DeBlaay (Doug), Brad Schollaart (Linda) and Ron Schollaart (Tammy); her grandchildren, Taryn Brenneman (Mike), Carri Bronkema (Lee), Jaime Mueller (Brandon), Lyndsey Friedt (Nick), Dan Schollaart (Elizabeth), Kristi Lewis (Jon), Tim Schollaart, Jeff Schollaart, Katie Schollaart, Kyle Schollaart (Amanda) and Chad Schollaart (Chrissie Oken); and her sister Joyce Bengelink. She is also survived by her 29 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Third Reformed Church (2060 Michigan St NE, Grand Rapids, MI 49503). A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
