Walter Muenzenmeyer Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Walter Muenzenmeyer of Grand Rapids, Michigan, born in Burlington, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 12, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Mary (Ryan); his parents, Walter Muenzenmeyer and Mamie Muenzenmeyer (Meyer); his siblings, William Muenzenmeyer, Paul (Mary Lou Muenzenmeyer), Mary (Ed Link) and Earl (Francis Wood); his son-in-law Ted Wieringa; and his grandson Ryan M. Muenzenmeyer.

He is survived by: his children, Linda Klebe (Byron), Michele Wieringa, Steve Muenzenmeyer (Michelle) and John Muenzenmeyer (Thea Chudova); his grandchildren, Karen, Eric, Matthew, Katherine, Ashleigh, Kevin, Allyson and Yana; and his sisters-in-law, Patricia Race (Dave) and Nancy Ryan (Ed Nummerdor). He is also survived by 15 Great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
