He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Luurtsema and Myrtle Luurtsema; his daughter Nichole; and his brother Jerry Lee Luurtsema. He is survived by: his son Greg Luurtsema; and his sister Marilyn Streur. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
