He is survived by: his daughters, Mary (John VanDerPuy), Nancy (Len Fazio) and Susan (Mark VanZanten); his grandchildren, Katie Anderson, Emily VanDerPuy, Mo VanDerPuy, Devin Majkut, Liz, Brady Wright, Anne, Bjorn Anderson, Sarah, Piotr Piasecki (Jovita), Rachel VanZanten, Kristen, Caleb Parks, Tyler, Melissa VanZanten, Hannah and Austin Thompson; his sister Maxine Dykstra; and his close friend Marilyn Olsen-Lear.
