He was predeceased by: his brothers, Frank Swisher and Chuck Swisher. He is survived by: his wife Betty Lou Belcher Bowen of Grand Rapids; and his stepchildren, Edward Bowen (Karin) of Alto and Tami Zamora (Javier) of Greenville. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren, a niece and one nephew.
