Willa Verburg Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Willa Verburg (Grand Rapids, Michigan), who passed away on November 7, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Dale Verburg; and her brothers-in-law, Loren Verburg, Vern Poest, Bob Verburg and Tom Kosten.
She is survived by: her children, Joy Weersma (Gary), Tim Verburg (Anne) and Paul Verburg; her grandchildren, Simon Verburg (Sulma), Aimee Bentley (Jake), Sara Riley (David), Kelsey Taylor (Sylvester), Amanda Watkins (Zach), Adam Okorowski and Brandon Verburg; her great grandchildren, Jacob, Nesecity, Mason, Destiny, Abbie, Gaven, Sylvia, Ellie, Kaylee, Haley, Anastasia, Benton, Isaac and Elena; her sisters, Laurie Kosten, Dianne Verhaar (Ron), Coralee Bell and Bonnie Sheldon; and her sisters-in-law, Carol Verburg, Mary Verburg and Mary Poest. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 12th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, November 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Westend Christian Reformed Church (1015 Westend Ave NW, Grand Rapids, MI 49504).
