He was predeceased by: his parents, Clair Carr and Mildred Carr (Anderson); and his wife Frances Carr (Petersen). He is survived by: his daughters, Tina Rudd (Doug) of Carson City, Patricia Copeland, Mary Hausserman (Jack) of Ada and Melinda Talbot (Brian) of Ionia; his grandchildren, Eric Rudd (Ellie), Emily Zeneberg (Jon), Adam Copeland, Matthew Hausserman, Alex Hausserman (Emily), Abigail Talbot, William Talbot (Sadie) and Joshua Talbot; his great grandchildren, Hattie Rudd, Jay Zeneberg and Waylon Hausserman; and his siblings, Larry Carr (Myrna) and Ann Griffin (Colby) of Arizona. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Donations in Bill's honor may be made to the Ionia First United Methodist Church or to the Association for the Blind & Visually Impaired in Grand Rapids.
