He is survived by: his daughters, Heidi (Tom Glover), Heather (John Scott) and Carrie (Michael Stienstra); his grandchildren, Hannah Glover (Chad), Hillary Tanis (Dirk), Dirk Glover (Maria), Benjamin Plite (Brittany), David Robertson (Lindsay), Rebecca Robertson (Skye), Andrew Stienstra (Serina) and Nathan Stienstra; his great grandchildren, John Abraham, Juniper, Phoebe and Natalie Marilyn; his sister Ruth VanderWerf; and his siblings-in-law, Mary Stroo Veldman, Barbara Boomstra and Peter VanderKooy.
