He was predeceased by: his wife Lois Dudley Yates; his parents, Gil Yates and Sunny Yates; and his brother Brian Yates. He is survived by: his children, Julia Scott (Keith), Cynthia Nutwell (Dan) and Andrew Yates (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Jason, Samantha Scott, Luke, Aaron, Mark Nutwell and Liam Yates; and his brothers, Bruce Yates (Shelley) and Bob Yates (Sandy). He is also survived by brothers and sisters in-law, nieces and nephews, cousins and dear friends.
