She was predeceased by: her husband Gerald; and her sons, Charles and James Tumbling. She is survived by: her children, Kathy Veenstra (Henry) and Bill Tumbling (Sue); her daughters-in-law, Kristen and Cynthia Tumbling; and her grandchildren, Lori Bruins (Jim), Matt Veenstra (Kim), James Tumbling Jr., Christine Cole (Dave), Charlene Stapleton and Amanda Green. She is also survived by many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; as well as many nieces and nephews.
