He was predeceased by : his parents, Sam Evola and Francis Evola (Mazzarelli); his wife Barbara LePenna; and his siblings, Jack, Angelo and Catherine Evola.

He is survived by : his sons, Tim (Christina) and Tom Evola; his granddaughters, Ellery Evola and Alicia Sherman; his great grandchildren, Baylee and Patrick Sherman; and his sister JoAnn Dumont.

Visitation was held on Friday, May 3rd 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Michigan Cremation & Funeral Care (3627 Linden Ave SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49548). A memorial service was held on Friday, May 3rd 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
