She was predeceased by: her parents, John DeWent and Dora DeWent; and her sister Joyce Hoezee. She is survived by: her husband Sam; her children, Sharon Hoezee (Rol), Sue Vis (Randy), Sam Sterk (Lori) and Steven Sterk (Sheli); her grandchildren, Tara Hoezee DeRoo (Todd), Jon Hoezee (Heather), Ben Hoezee (Sarah), Becky Wittingen Spriensma (Mike), Jeni Wittingen VanEyk (Brian), Tom Wittingen (Michelle), Ryan Sterk, Rachel Sterk and Rob Sterk; her great grandchildren, Seth, Lauren DeRoo, Tessa, Bree Hoezee, Aubrey, Claire, Kyle Hoezee, Brent (Alexis), Lance Spriensma, Anna, Jack, Ashley VanEyk, Easton, Alyssa, Caleb Wittingen, Cameron and Jackson Sterk; her sister Loretta Huberts; and her siblings-in-law, Dellvan Hoezee, Ken Sterk, Jim Schippers, Reet Sterk and Betty Sterk. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
