She was predeceased by: her parents, Gerrit DeVries and Jennie DeVries (Hulst); and her siblings, Helen Bos (DeVries) and Robert DeVries. She is survived by: her children, David Buning (Sue) of Cary, NC, Douglas Buning (Kathy) of Olathe, KS, Daniel Buning (Beth) of Jamestown and Rebecca Purnell (David) of Zeeland. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
