We bid farewell to Hermina Kiel (Grandville, Michigan), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 2, 2025 at the age of 91. Hermina touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Terpstra and Jennie Terpstra; her husband Haijo Kiel; her mother-in-law Cora Kiel; her brothers, Eugene, Stanley and Peter; and her grandson Jesse Kiel.
She is survived by: her children, Julie Smith (Paul), Carl Kiel (Sandy), Sharry Kragt (Brian) and Diane DeVries (Brian); her siblings, Alice VandenBerg, Bud Terpstra (Vonda), Rosie Nelson, JoAnn Byl (Hank) and John Terpstra; and her sister-in-law Olive Terpstra. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren who she adored; and 23 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (4145 Chicago Dr SW, Grandville, MI 49418).
