She was predeceased by: her parents, George Salisbury and Gertrude Salisbury; her husband Don McDougall; her siblings, Rowley, Glenn, Lyle Salisbury, Arlene Merriam, Geneva Schaller and Shirley Novotny; her parents-in-law, Karl and Lyla McDougall; and her siblings-in-law, Flora, Buel Andrus and Jack Reitz.
She is survived by: her children, Robert Scott McDougall and Rebecca Lynn; her son-in-law Brian Scott Schaffer; and her grandchildren, Miriam Grace Schaffer, Lydia Hope Schaffer and Odin Scott McDougall. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, former students, dear friends, and brothers and sisters.
