It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Kenneth Edward Bart (Grandville, Michigan), born in Grand Rapids, Michigan, who passed away on December 29, 2023, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his son Joseph; his parents, Edward Bart and Mary Lucille Bart (Lehnen); his sister Mary Lynn (Robert Hillebrand); his parents-in-law, George and Catherine Hurlbut; and his siblings-in-law, Patricia and Arthur Warning.

He is survived by: his wife Dixie; his daughter Kerri; his son-in-law Nick Jenison; his grandchildren, Arianna, Aiden and Ava; and his sister Janey Douglas. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Ken's honor to Daybreak Community Church or American Lung Association for IPF research.
