She was predeceased by: her husband Jerry; and her siblings, Stuart (Jean), Marian (Simon), Darlene (Karl), Stella (Earl), Casey and Julia (Dabner).

She is survived by: her children, Jayne Bartrand (Craig) and Jeffrey Thornton (Patricia); her grandchildren, Heath Thornton, Audra Bandstra (Tyler) and Jared Thornton; her siblings, Bernice VanderWoude and Richard Zandstra (Lou); and her sisters-in-law, Nancy Thornton and Pat Zandstra. She is also survived by nieces and nephews, friends.
