He was predeceased by: his wife Annette; his son-in-law Michael VanOyen; and his siblings, Minard Visser, Marie Doornbos, Joe Visser and Evelyn Yonkman.
He is survived by: his children, Judy, Garry Whaley, Sharon, Jack Door and Larry Visser; his grandchildren, Laura Whaley, Susan Burner (Nick), Lisa Whaley, Jonathan VanOyen (Jenna), Michelle McRill (Kyle) and Nicole Kennedy (Zachary); his great grandchildren, Jay, Luke McRill, Tyce VanOyen, Theodore Burner and Lincoln Kennedy; his siblings, George Visser, Grace Klamer, Connie Egberts and Fran Visser; and his sister-in-law Jan Visser. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (4145 Chicago Dr SW, Grandville, MI 49418). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
