She was predeceased by: her mother Joan Liszewski. She is survived by: her father John Liszewski; her brother Jason; her nephew Noah; her sister JoAnne; and her pets, Kit Kat and Jasper. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests contributions be made to American Cancer Society, an organization close to Melissa's heart.
