With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Nancy Elaine Akey (Grandville, Michigan), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her son Taylor Akey; her parents, Gerald Krygier and Isabel Krygier; and her parents-in-law, Mike and Yvonne Akey.

She is survived by: her husband Scott Akey; her children, Tara Mix (Jamey), Sean Shamblin and Derick Shamblin; her grandchildren, Myles Mix and Maisie Mix; and her siblings, Tim Krygier (Gail), Susan Krygier, James Krygier (Leinani), Gerald Krygier and Kathy McKibben. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended relatives, and friends.
