He was predeceased by: his father Richard Szarowicz; his sister Debra Buckhout; and his parents-in-law, LaVerne and Gloria Ritzema. He is survived by: his wife Julie Szarowicz; his children, Carlye (Jacob Kaminski), Jesse (Kaitlyn Szarowicz), Samuel Szarowicz and Devyn Szarowicz; his mother Mary Reavis; his siblings, David, Elaine Szarowicz, Julie Lupo, Gayle Szarowicz and Daniel Szarowicz; and his siblings-in-law, Bill Buckhout, Rachel, Joe Rincones, Andrew, Teresa Ritzema, Alex and Abelina Ritzema.
