She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Matthew Koning; her brothers, Clarence, Gilbert, Gerrit and John Besselsen; her children, Amy Stygstra (Rick), Jocelyn VerLee, Tricia Koning-Llewellyn (John) and Matthew "Chip" Koning (Jodi); her grandchildren, Ethan Stygstra (Katie), Kyle Stygstra (Alexis), Emily Stygstra, Jeremy Stygstra (Elise Kreske), Cash, Opal, Viola Koning, Maya and Stuart Llewellyn; her great grandchild Addie; her siblings-in-law, Hermie Besselsen, Sandra Colvin, Glenda Koning and Chuck Koning (Diane); and her parent Dutch. She was also cherished by nieces and nephews.
