With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Roy Tanis (Grandville, Michigan), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 6, 2025 at the age of 92. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Roy Tanis to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Dennis Tanis and Christine Tanis; his wife Marie; his son Carl (Joe); and his sister Carol.
He is survived by: his sister Elaine; his children, Dennis (Sharon Tanis), Louise (Wayne Getchell), Rich (Paula Tanis), Rod (Luann Tanis) and Phil (Kerri Tanis); and his daughter-in-law Deb Tanis. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 19th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (4145 Chicago Dr SW, Grandville, MI 49418). A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
