Sylvia Wormmeester Obituary
We are sad to announce that, on September 3, 2025, Sylvia Wormmeester of Grandville, Michigan, born in Corsica, South Dakota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Frederick; and her siblings, Roland Schelhaas, Marie Kok, Darlyne Shoemaker, Betty Bultsma, Eunice Pfeiffer and Ramona Schelhaas.
She is survived by: her children, Scott Wormmeester (Kathy "Daisy"), David Wormmeester (Jennifer) and Beth Stickland (Jim); her grandchildren, Corey Wormmeester, Kelsey Scalabrine (Nick), Zachary Wormmeester (Tayler), Kelly Wormmeester, Anna Wormmeester, Colin Stickland, Tyler Stickland and Alex Stickland; her great grandchildren, Harper and Emmersyn; and her sister Ruth Rubingh (Donn). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions in memory of Sylvia may be made to the Kitchen Committee of Woodhaven Reformed Church.
