She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Finkbeiner and Helen Finkbeiner; her husbands, James Henry Schuitema and Julius Roeters; her children, Linda Sue Schuitema and James Schuitema, Jr.; her son-in-law Duane Bull; her stepdaughter Jeanne DeBruin; her stepdaughter-in-law Jan Roeters; and her siblings, Evert (Elouise Finkbeiner), Farrel (Margaret Finkbeiner), Fred Finkbeiner, Henrietta (Basil Wall), Mable (Elmer Andersen) and Mary (Harry Segard).

She is survived by: her daughters, Mary Lou (Garry Vander Ploeg), Carole (Denny Murray) and Margaret Bull; her stepson Jim Roeters (Debi Richardson); and her siblings-in-law, Donna Finkbeiner, Lois Schuitema, Lois Timmerman and Robert Schuitema (Larry Brown). She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and their spouses, 69 great-grandchildren, 26 great-great-grandchildren.
