She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Wheeler and Edna Ruth Mullins (Jones); her son Lawrence R. Gillispie; her brother John R. Wheeler; and her son-in-law David Zenk.
She is survived by: her children, Kevin Gillispie (Debbie), Esther Honeysette (Rick), Michele Zenk and Chuck Hosler; and her sister Carolyn Scheid. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 30th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Rice Lake Baptist Church (10793 S Spruce Ave, Grant, MI 49327). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 30th 2026 at 12:30 PM at the VFW Hall (9075 S Mason Dr, Newaygo, MI 49337).
