Lawrence Duane left this world on May 21, 2025 at the age of 86, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Ann Davis (Kundrata) and Mont Paul Davis; his former wife Cecilia Licona Davis; and his sister Joyce Davis Renneker. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Parks; his sons, John Duane Davis (Christine) and Daniel Duane Davis (Isabel); his grandchildren, Zach Davis, Kaylee Davis, Brooke Hewitt (Sam), Danny Davis and Joseph Davis; his sisters, Paula Paauwe, Marijo Davis-Everroad (Curt) and Denise Davis (Charlie Sharbel); and his brother-in-law Jim Renneker. He is also survived by several stepchildren; and a large extended family.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 28th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, on Thursday, May 29th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM and at 11:30 AM. A Mass was held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Bartholomew Catholic Church (599 W Brooks St, Newaygo, MI 49337). A graveside service was held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the St. Bartholomew Cemetery (471 Fremont St, Newaygo, MI 49337).
