We bid farewell to Leroy Slachter of Grant, Michigan, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on September 5, 2025 at the age of 87. Leroy touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence and Clara; his wife Susan; and his brothers, Clarence Slachter (Joe) and Norman Slachter.
He is survived by: his children, Terry Slachter (Carmen) of Coopersville, Tim Slachter (Kim) of Grant and Cathern Ann Bushman (Christopher) of Hudsonville; his brother Sidney Slachter (Marge); and his brother-in-law Harvey Wilcox. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren.
