He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Stone and Helen Stone (Stuart); his sister Phyllis Marie Stone; and his in-laws, Bob and Betty Dykhouse.
He is survived by: his wife Kay (Dykhouse); his children, Eric Stone and Kimberly Schnell (Robert); his grandchildren, Lisbeth Schnell (Danielle Bole) and Megan Schnell; his siblings, Don Stone (Chuck Lindquist) and Katherine Stone; and his sister-in-law Mary Jane Oakes (Richard).
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Bailey Christian Church (17635 Pearl St, Bailey, MI 49303). A memorial service was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials are suggested to the Corewell Health Hospice, Fremont Area Community Foundation Endowment Fund.
