He was predeceased by: his parents, Emerson Chaney and Vivian Chaney (Barnes); his sister Marilyn Lewis; and his former wife Linda Chaney. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Louise Chaney; his children, Amy Nequist (Jim), Bob Chaney (Candy) and Carrie Jo Atwood (Rodney); his grandchildren, Nick Nequist (Hannah), Alex Nequist, Max Nequist, Taylor Furman, Riley Atwood (Hannah) and Eric Atwood (Destiney); and his brothers, Jack Chaney (Roberta) and Tim Chaney (Vicky). He is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
