We bid farewell to Gwen Strunk (Grawn, Michigan), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on April 26, 2025 at the age of 95. Gwen touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Dewey Schlee and Isabelle Schlee (Pearson); her sister Shirley Rhodes (Don); her former husband Edwin Prong; and her grandson Eric Olds.
She is survived by: her husband John Strunk; her children, Keith Prong, David Prong (Linda Keway) and Nancy Mercier (Bruce); her stepchildren, Martha Meyer (Larry), Luke Strunk (Wendy), Philip Strunk (Stacey), Emily Micconnell (Mark) and Sarah Biddle (Guy); her grandchildren, Jeremy, Holly, Jessica, Lauren, Megan Adele and Mckenzie; and her great grandchildren, Josie, Avery, Addison, Noah, Liam, Owen, Benjamin and Stella. She is also survived by step-grandchildren, step-great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Redeemer Lutheran Church (1896 Rogers Rd, Grawn, MI 49637). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
While Gwen loved flowers (which John gifted her daily), Gwen would instead love for memorial contributions to either be given to the Redeemer Lutheran Church Youth Group, a gofundme for Gwen's great-grandson, Owen (https://www.gofundme.com.), or Dolly's Imagination Library.
