He was predeceased by : his parents, Otto Luttinen and Mayme Luttinen (Kulppi); and his brother Robert Luttinen. He is survived by : his wife Carole Juntunen; his children, Lindsey Luttinen (Kelly) and Summer Kolka; his grandchildren, Nathan Kolka, Sarah Wilson (Jeff), Megan Essensa (Joshua), Rebecca Luttinen and Luke Luttinen; his great grandchild Clark Wilson; and his brother-in-law Jerry Juntunen (Karyn).

Visitation was held on Monday, April 22nd 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Bethlehem Lutheran Church (1050 Peninsula Dr, Traverse City, MI 49686). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 22nd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
