David Warren Schmidt Obituary

He was predeceased by: his parents, Ronald Schmidt and Emily Schmidt; and his brother Robin Schmidt. He is survived by: his wife Shelly Schmidt; his children, Michael Schmidt (Angy), Christina Patterson (Lee) and JD Schmidt; his grandchildren, Jasmyne Schmidt, Aurora Schmidt, Adeline Patterson and Hudson Patterson; his sister Kathryn Borden (Jerry); and his sister-in-law Joann Schmidt. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, August 29th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Grayling Free Methodist Church (6352 W M-72 Hwy, Grayling, MI 49738). A memorial service was held on Saturday, August 29th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
