She was predeceased by: her parents, William Steffen and Laura Steffen (Dehne); her husband Clarence Papendick; her son Ed Papendick; and her granddaughter Angie Moggo.
She is survived by: her children, Rusty Papendick (Pat) of Grayling, Perry Papendick (Vickie Nicholls) of Grayling, Tina Bassett (Jim), Renee Moery (Mike) of Grayling and Maple Forest; her daughter-in-law Terri Papendick; and her grandchildren, Marilyn Gauthier (Jerry), Shannon Mienk (Derek), Cheryl Bennett (Justin), Sara Bassett, Autumn Papendick, Ashley Moery and Nathan Moery (Kora Gehringer). She is also survived by 12 great grandchildren, 5 great-great grandchildren along with numerous nieces and nephews including great and great-great nieces and nephews.
Quilting and sewing were her passion, donating many quilts to Michelson Memorial United Methodist Church in addition to gifting many to family members.
