As Gloria Maxine departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Gloria Maxine. Though Gloria Maxine may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Dale Larr and Maxine Larr (Flory); her brothers, Dale Larr of Manton, MI and Jack Larr of Manton, MI; and her son Mark McDaniel.
She is survived by: her husband Howard; her sister Ruth Briggs of Traverse City; her daughters, Jill McDaniel-Fraidenburg of Hillman, MI and Heide Zuckschwerdt of Jacksonville, FL; and her stepchildren, Alicia Taylor of Edgerton, WI and Timothy Taylor of Manton, MI. She is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Before her abilities were cut short by the dreaded Alzheimer's disease, she touched the hearts of many people and will be fondly remembered and missed. It was Gloria's wish that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Ward C. Taylor Memorial Fund of the Northeast Michigan Community Foundation which is the endowment fund supporting Wellington Farm Park, Inc.
