She was predeceased by: her parents, Max Mayes and Florence Mayes (Coucke). She is survived by: her children, Michelle Smith (David) of Shelby Twp and Michael Bastuba (Jodi Chapdelaine) of Lovells; her grandchildren, Max and Cheyenne; and her siblings, Leon Mayes (Josefine), Bill Mayes (Janet), Sylviann Seefelt (Bob) and Diane Richardson (Jerry).
