Joan Marie Mattis Obituary

We bid farewell to Joan Marie Mattis (Grayling, Michigan), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 10, 2025 at the age of 94. Joan touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Willette and Angelina Willette (Goyer); her husband Larry; her brothers, Gordon and Michael Willette; and her sisters-in-law, Helen and Barbara Willette.

She is survived by: her sisters, Janet Rechlin (Donald) of Waters, Michigan and Virginia Mierzejewski of Green; and her sister-in-law Darlene Gray.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St Mary Catholic Church (708 Peninsular Ave, Grayling, MI 49738). A Mass will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:15 PM.
