It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Michael Jones (Grayling, Michigan), who passed away on September 26, 2025, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Gertrude "Mickey" Jones and John S. Jones. He is survived by: his wife Cindy; his brother Michael Jones; his children, Michele Papatheodore (Jim), John Jones (Beth), Chris Jones and Jeremy (Kari); and his grandchildren, Kalei, Abby, Trey, Keilana, Athan, Malia, Sienna and Sawyer.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Sorenson Lockwood Funeral Home, Inc. (1108 W North Down River Rd, Grayling, MI 49738). The military honors will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
