The memory of Kenneth Clayton Halstead Sr. of Grayling, Michigan, who passed away on June 20, 2025 at the age of 77, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude "Bud" Halstead and Arlene Halstead (Dilling); his siblings, Leslie Halstead and Carol Baker; and his nephew Josh Halstead.
He is survived by: his children, Melissa Elliott, Kenneth Halstead, Jr. of Grayling, Charles Halstead, Tiffany Pagereski (RJ) of Grayling and Jon Halstead (Hayley); his grandchildren, Samantha, Sirria, Katie, Margaret, Brandy and Courtney; and his siblings, Liz Weaver (Steve), Duane Halstead (Margaret), Raymond Halstead (Sara) and Kim Halstead (Dawn). He is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 25th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Sorenson-Lockwood Funeral Home (1108 W North Down River Rd, Grayling, MI 49738). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 25th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, June 25th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Elmwood Cemetery (903 W North Down River Rd, Grayling, MI 49738). The military honors will be held on Wednesday, June 25th 2025 at the Sorenson-Lockwood Funeral Home (1108 W North Down River Rd, Grayling, MI 49738).
