He is survived by: his wife Helen Virden; his children, Rick Virden and Marissa Heney (Trevor); his grandchildren, Kaden, Takoda and Allie; and his siblings, Brenda Gilson (Brian) and Thomas Virden. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.
