With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Thomas William Cojocar of Grayling, Michigan, who passed away on July 23, 2025 at the age of 67. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruth Parsons and William Cojocar; his stepfather Henry Parsons; and his siblings, Jack Cojocar and Virginia Wise.
He is survived by: his wife Marie Cojocar; his children, Thomas Cojocar (Jessica), Angela Hempel (Jerry) and Henry Cojocar (Madeline); his grandchildren, Jeremy Hempel Jr., Brady Cojocar, Ashley Hempel, Blake Cojocar, Dante Cojocar and Bryson Cojocar; his stepgrandchildren, Bryce Miller, Xander Miller, Titus Miller, Trent Remer and Logan Miller; his siblings, Janet Maurer (Matt), Carol Seaman (Tony), Denise Pettipas (Ervin), Pam Parsons and James Cojocar (Linda); his stepsister Michelle Donnelly (Butch); his brother-in-law Ronnie Garrett (Julie); his close friends, Scott and Jodie Benson; and also, Bobbie Jo Reeves (Jake) and Megan Benson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews; and many dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Sorenson Lockwood Funeral Home, Inc. (1108 W North Down River Rd, Grayling, MI 49738). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
