She was predeceased by: her parents, William Johnson and Gladys Johnson (Heathcote); her husband Robert Verne Kissel; her daughter Karen Gould; her son-in-law Elwood Gould; her grandson Robert Gould; and her siblings, Inez Beach, Florence Collins, Harold Johnson, Frank Johnson and Charlie Johnson.

She is survived by: her children, Robert Kissel, Jr. (Jean) of Greenville, Lynette Peterman (Terry) of Sidney and Brian Kissel (Beverly) of Sheridan; her grandchildren, Tim Kissel (Sarath) of Holland, Jill Smith (Tony) of Greenville, Dean Kissel of Greenville, Terry Peterman (Natasha) of Lake Odessa, Tammy Ross (Joe) of Belding, Beth Anne Pratt (Matt) of Livonia and Becki Reynolds (Dave) of Bellevue; and her sister-in-law Marcia Johnson. She is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren; 12 great-great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Hope Lutheran Church.
