It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of James Stevens of Greenville, Michigan, who passed away on November 1, 2025, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Sharon Stevens; and his parents, Henry Stevens and Barbara Stevens. He is survived by: his children, Jim, Nickie Stevens, Tom, Ruby Stevens, Tammy and Kevin Velding; and his siblings, Mike Stevens, Sherry Newman, Julie, Bob Baar, John and Heather Stevens. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren, brothers and sisters-in-law; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 10th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (4145 Chicago Dr SW, Grandville, MI 49418). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 10th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
