She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Beyer and Charlotte Beyer of Pella, Iowa.; her brother Gene; her sister-in-law Joyce Beyer; and her sister Mary Kinnisten.
She is survived by: her children, Jessica Fontan (Peter) and Christopher Aumueller (Melissa); her brother John Beyer (Stephanie); her brother-in-law Phillip Kinnisten; and her grandchildren, Samuel Fontan, Gabriella Fontan, Thomas Fontan, Ava Aumueller and Cason Aumueller. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews.
Her daughter Jessica lovingly cared for Julie in her home during her final four years as she struggled with Alzheimer's until the last few months of her life.
