Words of sympathy

Ann Hyde wrote a sympathy message

“Lois Beal was the first person to hire me and I am so grateful for her belief in me. I can remember how jittery I was during my interview in November 1975, not knowing where my future pointed. She was kind, but pointed in her questions. At the end, I asked how long it would take her to make a decision, she smiled and told me she had already decided. I began at Baldwin Heights Elementary six weeks later. I learned so much from her......what a gift she was!”
