With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Melinda Joy Thompson (Greenville, Michigan), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Melinda left this world on July 15, 2025 at the age of 35, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Bill, Iris Horton of Greenville and Darlene Thompson of Stratford, Iowa.. She is survived by: her parents, Daniel Thompson and Glenda Thompson of Ionia; her siblings, Melissa McAlvey (Todd) of Gowen and Calvin Thompson (Deidra) of Great Falls; her siblings' children, Norah, Hazel, Miriam McAlvey, Leo, Clive, Malachi and Josey Thompson; her grandfather Roy Thompson of Stratford; and her significant other Robert Netherton of Whitmore Lake. She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Calvary Baptist Church (12501 Montcalm Ave NE, Greenville, MI 48838). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
