He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Milton Merren and Frances Merren (Silverthorne); his wife Linda Merren (Woodbury); his son Michael Merren, Jr. of Seattle; his stepchildren, Renee Andrews (Bruce) of Southgate, Christopher Swindell (Patricia) of Greenville, James Aper, Jr. (Tammy) of Cedar Springs, Jamie Aper (Dina) of Greenville and Jason Aper of Lapeer; and his siblings, Milton Merren, Jr. of Kentucky, Joan Keeler of Greenville, Terry Merren of Greenville, Marc Merren of Greenville, Margaret Burns of Greenville, Carol Jasso of Greenville and Dave Merren of Saugatuck. He was also cherished by 16 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.
