As Sherry departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Sherry. Though Sherry may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Marian Walthuis (Stevens) and Willis Walthuis; her spouse Denny Devriendt; and her stepmother Audry Walthuis. She is survived by: her children, Cinnamon Laux (Brent) of Greenville and Garren Lamonte (Jamie) of Portland; her grandchildren, Nathan, Tippey and Kelsy; her stepsister Sandy Slowik (Jerry) of Belding; and her close friend Bob Hays of Greenville. She is also survived by 7 great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, cousins and many dear friends.
