He was predeceased by: his parents, Blair Custer and Bertha Custer; his wife Irva L. Custer (Carey); and his siblings, Judith Custer, Billy Carr and Ida Swartzentrover.
He is survived by: his daughters, Marlene Brooks (Andrew Paulosky) and Sheryl Ciluffo (Clem) of Gregory; his granddaughters, Cindy, Wendy, Angela, Dianna and Sherry; his great grandchildren, Colin, Brinka, Rankin III, Bailey, Emma, Alexis, Makenna, Jerry and Gabe; his great great grandchildren, Scarlett, Savina, Madiella, Monte, Aurora, Francisco and Eviana; and his siblings, Jack Custer of Romulus and Reenee Gagnon of Washington Township.
A burial will be held on Thursday, May 21st 2026 at 1:30 PM at the Great Lakes National Cemetery.
