With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Frank Gennaro Marchio of Grosse Ile, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 25, 2025 at the age of 86. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Frank Gennaro Marchio to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Marchio and Vittoria Marchio (Rizzo); and his siblings-in-law, Mary Jane Marchio and Carl Bargardi. He is survived by: his wife Christine; his daughters, Cristina Benzenhafer (Eric) and Angela Stratton (Brian); his grandchildren, Isaac Stratton, Annaliese Benzenhafer, Katherine Benzenhafer and Liam Stratton; and his siblings, Anthony Marchio, Frances Bargardi, Josephine Anderson and James Marchio (Evelyn).
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 2nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Czopek Chapel (2157 Oak St, Wyandotte, MI 48192). A rosary was held on Sunday, November 2nd 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. The lying in state was held on Monday, November 3rd 2025 at 9:30 AM at the Sacred Heart Church (21599 Parke Ln, Grosse Ile Township, MI 48138). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, November 3rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
